Threadlike works

The careful work of the frames for the sculptures, the emphasis on the contours in the drawings and the attempts to elicit a more thoughtful regard from the observers, led me to the threadlike sculptures that are very synthetic, like 3D drawings.

These sculptures, made with threads then with copper and aluminium wires of various thicknesses or with tubes covered with fiberglass and carbon for the larger pieces, have a great lightness and transparency, this way being able to dialogue with modern and contemporary architecture and landscapes, although not giving up the accuracy of description of a figurative volume.

Avoiding the simplifications and reductions often found in modernism, the simplicity here was achieved from an in-depth analysis of the contours of the model, taking into account the different perspectives for contemplation that are offered by a sculpture.
